Pandiman Gold Sponsors at British Women's Association 2021 Online Queen's Birthday Gala Night

Pandiman were Gold sponsors for this year's British Women's Association Queen's Birthday Gala night, which helped raise P400,000 to go towards the 11 charities that the BWA support here in the Philippines. Pandiman CFO Fiona Malca, currently on the Board of the BWA, said that Pandiman was very proud to be a major sponsor this year, particularly because the theme of the Gala dinner was Indian festivals, with collaboration and input from ladies of the Indian community. "Both of our countries are having a hard time recovering from the COVID crisis", Mrs. Malca said "and it is important now, more than ever, that we stand together during these challenging times." The event took place via zoom and Chairman Janet Clemo, Mr and Mrs Malca and Captain Andrew and Mrs. Malpass were all in attendance. Captain Malpass said "Despite the challenges of now being sixteen months into lock down, it was fantastic to participate in such a worthwhile community event. The BWA has continued to support their 11 charities in full, even during these extremely difficult times." Chairman Janet Clemo, who outbid everyone on a fabulous London chair during the live auction, said "From a personal point of view, with prevailing protocols limiting or prohibiting otherwise normal gatherings and bearing in mind the BWA's mission, the Association's 2021 virtually choreographed fundraising ball was in a way a timely celebration of this year's seventy-fifth anniversary of UK's diplomatic relationship with our host country."
