Last Sunday, July 10th, the Sailors' Society Ambassadors, Philippines, held a Sea Sunday Service at the Holy Trinity Church, Makati.
For the first time since we have held the services these past years, the service this year was attended by Sailors' Society and Mission to Seafarers, both British charities, whose Patron is Her Majesty the Queen.
We were grateful to have the IMEC Cadets, looking smart as always, for the entrance of colours.
It was wonderful to see a full church in honour of our modern day heroes, their families and children and to join in prayer for them and for their safekeeping.
The Choir, led by Choirmaster Domino, included the Holy Trinity Church choir and the Alumni choir from Magsaysay.
A meaningful message from Alistair White, Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy
A rousing rendition of "Shine Jesus, Shine" from the choir....and deserved round of applause to follow!
Magsaysay Seafarers wives joined for the group picture
Chef Ace from the Manila Club catered for the 97 person congregation that day, sponsored by Pandiman Philippines
A wonderful spread, enjoyed by all!
