On Sunday, the 9th of July, the Sailors' Society Ambassadors, Philippines, held a Sea Sunday Service at the Church of the Holy Trinity.
With the theme ‘Calming the Storm at Home, in Port and at Sea’, the Sunday Church service is in honour of seafarers around the world. The service this year was attended by Sailors' Society (a British charity, whose Patron is His Majesty the King), the Propellers Club Scholars and British Embassy guests and representatives.
The Entrance of Colours are graced by the IMEC Cadets.
It was wonderful to hear a meaningful message from Alistair White, Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy.
Pandiman Philippines’ Capt. Andy Malpass led the Prayer for Seafarers.
A fervent and heartwarming rendition of “You’ll never walk alone” by Rhiannon Malpass is offered during Communion.
Chef Ace from the Manila Club catered for the 130-person congregation that day, sponsored by Pandiman Philippines. A wonderful spread, enjoyed by all!
